Covid 19 Close Motor Company Update 02/11/2020

After the Government announcement on Saturday 31st October regarding a new lockdown from 5th November, I wanted to outline how we will be there to help keep the country moving while working within the guidance laid out by Government. We will be fully open as normal until the 5th November 2020.
From the 5th November, our service departments will operate as normal although on skeleton staff as they have been for many months in a safe manner.
Sales showrooms and used car external display areas will not be open to the public from 5th November until further notice.
However, we will be in the dealerships to continue car sales remotely and we will be able to send you videos, talk to you via video and meet your needs almost as well as if you were with us.
Customers can still collect a car which has been purchased either online or via the telephone directly from our dealerships, though the handover will be outside.
All vehicle handovers will take place from a designated exterior handover area and full social distancing practices will be in place to ensure both colleague and customer safety. Home delivery options will also be available, and all handled in a Covid safe manner.
Our staff remain on hand to assist with your sales and aftersales enquiries via telephone and email and our website www.closemotorcompany.co.uk. This is fully functional with the ability to buy or reserve a car online, propose your own finance as well as book a service or MOT.

Our aftersales departments remain fully operational for servicing, MOT and repairs. Social distancing measures, an appointment-only system, protective screens at our service desks as well.
